Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease / Lung Cancer
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the fourth leading cause of death in the United States while Lung Cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in both men and woman. We seek to improve the quality of life of these patients by offering various educational and support groups for people suffering from lung disease. Along with these programs and services we provide up to date information on emerging and timely lung issues.
Are you worried that you might have COPD?
If you are over 40 with a history of smoking, breathing problems, or exposure to secondhand smoke, workplace chemicals or high levels of air pollution, you may be at risk. Check out Boehringer Ingelheim's COPD screening survey and contact your doctor for a check-up.
