Our Mission at Work
Over 20 million Americans suffer from obstructive sleep apnea and roughly 90% of them are not diagnosed and effectively treated because they are unaware of how dangerous the symptoms are. Breathe California of the Bay Area conducts a popular program in which they accept donated CPAP and BiPAP machines and redistribute them for a low cost.
Why is CPAP the most popular treatment option?
CPAP, or continuous positive airway pressure, is a noninvasive treatment for moderate to severe sleep apnea. It's a machine that delivers pressurized air, usually through a mask over the nose. The air pressure provides just enough air to prevent the airway from collapsing while sleeping. For most, it is the most reliable and effective treatment and hundreds of thousands of CPAP devices are now being used to treat sleep apnea.
If you are a consumer/ patient and wish to receive CPAP/Bi-PAP and want to learn more about this program, please contact Michael Baker at 408-998-5865 or email at email@example.com
